Shield parted per fess of Sable and Azure, charged with an eradicated fir Argent, at top in a white field a black inscription "BAD HINDELANG".
Meaning:
The white fir had been chosen as a snow capped tree, representing the location in forests and the local timber trading. The black colour is representing the rule of the Bishopric of Augsburg, is however the wrong colour, as the tinctures of the bishopric had been silver and red. The blue colour together with the white colour of the fir are representing Bayern. In 1660 a hunting lodge of the bishops was finished. Since then the valley had been a recreation place. The title of a spa was approved in 2002 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
