Shield parted per fess of Sable and Argent, a sinister facing sight hound salient in counterchanged tinctures with collar Or, in sinister base an inescutcheon Gules parted by a bend Argent.
Meaning:
The shield parted per fess with hound displays the personal arms of Eberhard Peringstorfer, who died in 1447. He also founded the local church. The arms were bequeathed by his tombstone in that church. The inescutcheon displays the seal of Albertus de Rukersdorf from 1269. Rückersdorf had been seat of the namesake kin, who was first mentioned in 1234 and served as imperial commissionaires in the village until 1311.
