It is a blue-yellow-blue vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:2:1. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top.

Shield Azure, parted by a bend sinister wavy Or, in dexter chief hammer and mallet Or in saltire, in sinister base an attire Or in bend sinister.
Meaning:
Hammer and mallet are symbolising the rather unsuccessful mining of gold in the area since the 15th century, which ended in 1774. The golden colour refers to the gold mining. The attire is taken from the arms of the former territory of Sondershausen, to which the village belonged. It is also symbolising the many forests in the area. The wavy bend is symbolising the Schwarza River.
