Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess into blue over gold (= yellow). The field above is divided by a golden (= yellow) bar dancetty. In the field below are green charges, a branch of fir and an oak leaf crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
The bar dancetty is taken from the arms of the Benedictine monastery of Scheyern, derived from the arms of the Count of Scheyern-Wittelsbach, the founder of the monastery. Leaf and branch are representing the settlement core of Lohhof, which means "farm in bright mixed forest". Unterschleißheim gained city rights in 2000.

The flag was approved on 30 June 1988. The coat of arms was approved on 10 August 1965.
