Pullach Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided by a silver (= white) bend sinister wavy. Above right in a blue field is a silver (= white), eradicated beech tree. Below left in a black field are three silver (= white) barrulets.
Meaning:
The bend is representing river Isar. The beech is a canting element, because the municipality's name is derived from "Buochlach" (= beech forest). The three barrulets had been the arms of the Lords of Baierbrunn, who had been relatives of the Lords of Pullach and were owners of the village since the beginning of the 13th century. They died out in 1333. Their arms appeared on numerous seals of that family.

The coat of arms was approved on 28 June 1956 and the (white) banner on 28 June 1958 by Bavarian ministry of interior. The bicolour had also been in use until 2011.
