Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a fir Vert stemmed and eradicated Or on top of a mount Sable issuant from base, at sinister Gules three lozenges Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The seat of the county is Lüchow in Wendland. In 1932 the counties of Lüchow and Dannenberg merged. The dexter half shows the canting arms of former Dannenberg County (English: fir-mountain). The lozenges are taken from the arms of the former Counts of Lüchow, who died out in 1318.

The flag was approved on 20 May 1999. The arms were approved on 24 July 1935 by Prussian Minister of State.
