Baroque shield Or a ram's horn Gules.
Meaning:
Burgsinn gained the rights of a market town in 1799. The settlement belonged to the local castle of the Counts of Rieneck, who had been vassals of the Bishopric of Würzburg. Between 1405 and 1630 it belonged to the Barons of Thüngen, who regained the town in 1697, when the use of an old village seal was guaranteed by the barons. All later seals from the 17th and 18th century and the arms are based on that village seal. The horn is considered to be a differentiation of a ram in the arms of the Voit of Rieneck kin, who played an important role in Mittelsinn until the 15th century.The tinctures are those of the barons and the counts as well.
