Shield parted per pale; at dexter parted per fess, above Vert a stone Argent, beneath Argent a bend wavy Gules; at sinister Or, a lion rampant Sable, armed and tongued Gules, superimposed by a bendlet Argent.
Meaning:
The village was first mentioned as "Steinigenwiesen" (= stony meadows) in 1323. A small seal from the 18th century displayed a canting image, showing stones between clusters of grass blades and in chief a crowned lozenge. The image was simplified to a single block in a green field, representing the meadows. The red bend wavy is representing the local Rodach River and rafting on the river. The sinister half displays the arms of the Bishopric of Bamberg, to which the town belonged until 1802. The village gained the rights of a market town in 1743.

The arms were approved on 26 April 1937 by governor of Bayern. The banner was approved in 1968 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
