Description of banner:
It is a vertical 4-stripes banner with alternating white and light blue stripes. At the top is a white bannerhead fimbriated light blue with the coat of arms in its centre.

Description of coat of arms:
In a light blue field are three silver(=white) fleur de lis ordered two above one.
Meaning:
According to source a similar coat of arms, which had a mural crown, was granted by the king of Prussia on 12 May 1917. The mural crown was abolished in 1972. The existence of the arms is proved by a book of arms of the archbishopric of Paderborn, dated late 18th century, the lilies ordered one above two. Stadler 1972 proved, that a lily already existed upon a cup used for measuring in 1668. He believed, that these had been taken from Paderborn coins of the 13th century. Furthermore the bishops Meinwerk (+ 1036) and Imad (+ 1076) are said to have used the same pattern with different tinctures.
