The shield is divided per pale into golden (= yellow) and red superimposed by a silver (= white) embattled fess bendy.
Meaning:
According to source the colours are those of the Bishopric of Hildesheim. The fess bendy was taken from the arms of the Wohldenberg kin. The colour was however changed from red to silver.

The ratio is given as 1:2. It was a yellow over red over white horizontal tricolour.
