Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a throughout cross Sable, at sinister Gules a pair of flails Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The cross is alluding to Fulda Abbey, to which the village belonged in the past. The flails are symbolising the rural character of the municipality.
