Shield Azure, a patriarchal cross Or flanked in base by two initials "D" of the same.
Meaning:
A market town seal with a print of 1717 and a municipal seal from 1820 both displayed the same pattern: ashield parted per pale with a church at dexter, the sinister half was parted per fess with the Wüürttemberg antlers above and a crozier below together with a patriarchal cross. Since the end of the 19th century the current pattern prevailed, also in a municipal seal from 1903. The cross is reminding on the Denkendorf Monastery, which had been secularised in 1535. The D's are the abbreviation of "Dorf Denkendorf" (=Denkendorf village). The tinctures were fixed together with the approval.

The arms were approved in 1965 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg.
