Shield Azure, an initial "K" Or, in chief a crest coronet of the same.
Meaning:
The arms display one of the four symbols of the Cistercian Kaisheim Abbey, which was formerly named Kaisersheim (=the emperor's home). The abbey had been under direct imperial rule. These arms were introduced in the abbey by Abbot Konrad Reiter (1509 - 1540). "K" is the first letter of the name of the abbey and the coronet is symbolising the direct imperial rule. This pattern had been the preferred one in the armorials and on sculptures in the 17th and 18th century. The town used the current pattern on seals since 1946. The seal was approved in 1952. The edge of the arms on the banner is yellow.
