It is a white - black vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Description of coat of arms:
In a black shield are two silver (= white) keys crossed per saltire.
Meaning:
Burladingen had been a dominion of the Zollern kin since the 13th century and seat of a district (Amt) since the 16th century The oldest known seal of Burladingen from 1534 shows the quartered shield of the (Hohen-)Zollern family. The keys first appear on the arms of Burladingen in 1702. They had been a local symbol. The tinctures were fixed in 1932.

The banner was approved on 1 June 1956 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 670/1956. The arms were approved by the Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen in 1710. According to Mr. Schäfer a black - white banner was in use until the early 2000s, displaying to the proper series of Prussian colours, alluding to the Hohenzollern family.
