are the Coat of Arms and flag of Ujezd, adopted 27 Mar 2000, Zlin okres. Another
striking design IMO.

May I enquire about this toponym's etimology? It remarkably resembles
to the russian word "uezd" (spelt "уaзд"/"ye3d", pron. "ooyeazd"), which
was, in pre-soviet days, a subdivision of the governorates ("guberniâ").
