COC (Κυπριακή Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή), established in 1974, was recognized in 1979 by the International Olympic Committee. Members of the Committee are the 35 Federations, which elect the Executive Council composed of the Chairman and 8 members. The COC organized the 1989 Games of the Small States of Europe, and the 2009 games 20 years later.

The flag of COC (photo, photo) is white with the committee's emblem. The shield is charged with the Cypriot coat of arms, partially overlapped by the Olympic rings. The country name is placed over the coat of arms in green archaic-styled letters.
