Tenerife is a municipality in Magdalena department. It was
founded on 20 January 1543 by Francisco Henriquez.
The flag of San Tenerife is the Cartagena
State flag (1811-14) and the United
Provinces on New Granada provisional flag (1814). Same flag
is used today also by Barranquilla
(Atlantico) and Cartagena de Indias
(Bolivar) and probably other municipalities.
