Uribia is a municipality of the Colombian Department of La
Guajira. It was founded on 1 March 1935 by by Captain Eduardo
Londoño Villegas in honor of Colombian Liberal Party leader
Rafael Uribe Uribe, prior to this the village was named Chitki
in Wayuu language.
The flag of Uribia is horizontally divided yellow-white.
