web site: "According to Decree #002 of 1983, the
municipality of Polonuevo has a flag as symbol. The flag of
Polonuevo is made of three horizontal stripes, each
being 1.50 m in length and 0.30 m in height. The
colours are yellow, green and white.
Yellow symbolizes the resources of the municipality and its
rights on the soil.
Green symbolizes the fertility of its soil and the hope of its
farmers.
White symbolizes the fraternity between its children and their
aspiration to peace, which is mandatory for the happiness of the
community."
