Digby Neck and the Islands comprises a peninsula and two islands in western
Nova Scotia. The symbolism is quite obvious if you look at
a map of the area -
the longest rectangle represents Digby Neck, the peninsula, the middle one
represents Long Island, and the small one Brier Island. The waves represent the
waters of the Bay of Fundy and St. Mary's Bay on either side of these land
masses. This flag represents the community of the region of Digby County,
although there is no formal administrative district.
