University of Belize (UB) was established on 1 August 2000 as the merger
of University College of Belize (UCB), Belize Technical College (BTC),
Belize Teachers' Training College (BTTC), Belize School of Nursing
(BSN), and Belize College of Agriculture (BCA).
The main campus of UB was transferred in 2004 to Belmopan; UB operates
another three campuses (Belize City, Central Farm and Punta Gorda), and
two marine stations (Calabash and Hunting Caye).
UB is composed of four Faculties: Education and Arts (FEA), Management
and Social Sciences (FMSS), Nursing, Allied Health & Social Work
(FNAHSW), and Science and Technology (FST).

The flag of UB is white with a yellow border all around and the
university's emblem in the center.
