The municipality of Sentinela do Sul (5,581 inhabitants in 2019; 28,213 ha)
is located 100 km south-west of Porto Alegre.

The flag of Sentinela do Sul is divided green-yellow-orange-red by ascending
diagonals, the yellow and orange stripes narrower. In the flag's center, a white
disc inscribing the municipal coat of arms.
