The municipality of São Vendelino (2,160 inhabitants; 3,875 ha) is located
100 km north-west of Porto Alegre.
São Vendelino was established by
German immigrants coming from Sankt Wendel (Saar), São Vendelino's sister-town
since 18 October 2003.
