Guamaré (13047 inhabitants) is a coastal city in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and is one of the largest producers of oil in Brazil: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guamar%C3%A9. It should not be confused with a city that is also called Guamaré located in the State of Santa Catarina.
The flag is horizontally banded blue-red-white-red-blue, approximately
2-1-8-1-2, with the arms in the centre.
