The flag consists of a yellow diamond in a field of blue, with the coat of
arms of the city in the center of the flag inside the diamond.
Meanings:
Blue - represents the waters and sky of the municipality.
Yellow - represents
the Sun that shone radiantly on the day of political emancipation, represented
by the king of stars.
