The hoist half of the flag is identical to the state
flag, while the fly half shows the national colors,
green over yellow. Overall an oval shield, vertically elongated, rimmed by a
rope (?) and showing a blue lake on a white background, where swims a duck,
canting for the toponym, St. John of the Ducks, with crossed maize and coffee(?)
plants on the foreground of the shield, tied with a red ribbon,
with [some
illegible] text in black capitals.
