House flag of Somarsal - Image by Ivan Sache, 30 August 2003
Somarsal (Société Mahoraise de Remorquage de Sauvetage et Lamanage), based in Mamoudzou, was a subsidiary
of the Bourbon Maritime group. Following its taken-over by the Boluda group, Somersal was renamed Boluda Mayotte.
Boluda Mayotte currently operates the classic propeller tug Bambo (1990), the Voith Schneider tractor tug Provençal 3 (1977), and the crewboats Kawa (1987) and Poudjou (1984) (official fleet list).
The house flag of Somarsal was white with "SOMARSAL" written horizontally in blue letters.
