Municipality of Zamora (capital: Villa de Cura): 649 sq. km;
114,514 inhabitants (2002). The municipal flag is horizontally
divided yellow-pink, with the municipal coat of arms in the
middle. The shield of the coat of arms shows dexter a white ring
on blue, sinister four white fleur-de-lys (1+2+1) on pink; base,
a green tree on yellow. The shield is flanked by a green wreath
and surmonted by a crest with blue feathers. Below the shield is
yellow ribbon with some unreadable writing. There is also
something written in grey between the base of the shield and the
ribbon, most probably a date.
