Grand Lagoon Yacht Club is located at Perdido Key, at the Gulf Intercoastal
Waterway, and by that connected to the Gulf of Mexico. She was founded in 1968,
and being situated in a hurricane-prone area and its members have had to rebuild
lost parts of the facility. However, this has brought together the community,
that will not let mere wind drive them away.
They have a white burgee
with in the hoist a jumping blue dolphin(?), and in the fly in red the letters
GLYC. I didn't see a better image, so I provide one from Bay View Boat Club
