The Lloyd's Register of American Yachts lists the burgee for 1931. That is
slightly curious considering that in 1926 and 1928 three storms levelled the
site. But as with more recent storms, we have to assume that like after Sandy,
there was a grace period in which everybody had to determine whether the victims
would start their club anew.
Anyway, that gives us the opportunity to see
a white burgee with a red border around it, and in the white a blue five-pointed
star, bearing the letters 'S', 'L', 'R', 'Y', and 'C', with the S going towards
the hoist, and with three blue lines going from the star toward the three
corners.
