The Wayzata Yacht Club is located on Lake Minnetonka. The club
was started in 1965. Despite checking their history, I found no indication that
they have an Apostle Island Station, but still they somehow did acquire a
location with the Apostle Islands Yacht Club. It's this station that allows them
to be part of the Lake Superior Yachting Association.
The burgee has a
white hoist box bearing the serif characters WYC placed vertically. Beyond that,
the fly is white with a thick dark blue border. Centred on the field is a red
square. I'm not sure whether an actual burgee also has a narrow blue border
around the entire flag. All apparel depicts it thus, but I don't know whether
that's for consistency's sake, or whether an actual burgee does indeed show such
a border.
