The Morris Yacht and Beach Club was established in 1899. It's located at the
south end of City Island, New York, US. On 9th of March 2012, the clubhouse was
lost to fire. To some, that spelt the end of the club, but the members voted to
rebuild. Nearby clubs offered temporary club space, as did other establishments,
and by now (2022), the club once again has a thriving club house.
