The Cottage Park Yacht Club (CPYC) was founded in 1902 in Winthrop. The club started on the ferry dock formerly used by the Boston Steam Ship Company for its service between Boston and the Cottage Park Hotel in Winthrop.
The burgee of CPYC is red with a white triangle charged with a blue star placed along the hoist.
