The Eugene Yacht Club sails the waters of Fern Ridge Reservoir. At least, it
does so from early Spring till late Autumn. For the Winter, the reservoir is
drained. This gives the area of Eugene three quarters of the year of moderate
Northerly winds. Though, formally, the yacht club actually falls under Junction
City, Oregon.
The club burgee is a red hoist and a blue fly, separate by
a white tile throughout, bearing a red E. I borrowed an image from their
website,
https://www.eugeneyachtclub.org. However, it's not how actual burgees seem
to look. The website images have a black border around the tile. However,
photographs of actual burgees never seem to have that border; the white directly
borders on the red and the blue.
