The club was founded in 1981. At the time it was the "River Road Yacht Club".
The clubs lands are on the west bank of Lake Monroe, a reservoir lake not far
from Houston.
Their burgee is a white field with a black border, and
crossing the field in black the letters "CYC". Presumably, that's for C-onroe Y-acht
C-lub, which tells us this was not a burgee from the "River Road Yacht Club"
days.
