The American Model Yacht Club is listed in Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1917, as being organised in 1872 and incorporated in 1896; station: Foot of 60th Street, Brooklyn, N.Y., New York Bay. The club apparently sailed on
Prospect Park Lake, and in 1901 even a miniature yacht clubhouse was build there.
The club is no longer listed in Lloyd's for 1929. Though there are a few recent mentions of the "American Model Yacht Club", I think they all refer to the "American Model Yacht Association" instead.
The burgee is depicted as a 2:3 white triangle with a lying very dark blue A, its legs a border along the flywise edges, its bar angled towards the hoist.
