The Bar Harbor 31 Foot Association is listed in Lloyd's Register of American Yachts for 1917, as organised in 1912. No specific station is indicated, which would agree with this being an associations rather than a yacht club, but it's home waters are given as: Massachusetts Bay. It's appears to be a class association, for the rather specific Bar Harbour 31 foot class. Very specific, it seems, as in fact, Lloyd's lists the five yachts in the association.
The class flag is depicted as a ca. 2:3 very dark blue flag with a white emblem on it. This would usually be the class emblem, but I have no idea whether this is the case here. It looks like a capital "H" with its horizontal bar continuing s short while on both sides. I don't know what the description ought to be, though.
I didn't find any mention of the association after the war.
