The webpage at https://www.garylucy.com/captainslog/lcflagnew.html presents an in-depth analysis of possible flags used in the Lewis and Clark expedition, 1803-1806. It includes reproductions of drawings, made at the Wood River encampment in the winter of 1803-04, taken from the Lewis and Clark Journals. In the drawings of the keelboat is a detailed drawing outlining the structure of the boat; and, in addition, a detailed drawing of the flag Clark flown from the stern of the boat.
