City of Spencer, West Virginia, adopted a flag. The city website, dated 24th October 2008, states: www.cityofspencer.com/announcements.php

"After much work, the new City Flag has been approved. Citizens are to purchase a city flag from the city building Now!. The design captures the essence of our wonderful city: family, community and a rich heritage."
