one can see the flag of Woodstock, Virginia (seal on red background).

The town of Woodstock, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley, was fairly covered with the town flag, burgundy or maroon with a seal-like device. However, it was not the seal of the town as painted on the local water-tower and "welcome to
Woodstock" signs, which show the figure of the Revolutionary leader, Rev. Peter Muhlenberg. Instead, the flag has a round design in the center showing a stylized mountain range with a curved blue-white-blue band across the bottom
(representing the Shenandoah River, evidently) and a star on the highest of the mountains. Above the disk is a spray of gold flowers and below it the name of the town, also in gold. I can't find the flag logo on the net, unfortunately.
Woodstock is a town of about 3,200 people, chartered in 1761, and is the seat of Shenandoah County.
