The city of West, Texas, is located 20 miles north of Waco and is in McLennan County. Having a population of 2800 as of 2010, the city does have a flag on display. It is also home to a heavy Czech population and hosts "The Kolache Trail". It is the city seal, presented at www.cityofwest.com/, on a white background. The flag was on display by the local school, next to a Czech bakery. The seal itself shows a raised star, denoting the location, and the founding year of 1892. The motto at the top says "Friendly City of Progress."
