The flag of the City of Maryville, Tennessee, has a dark blue background with two sets of mirrored "M" crossing each other in the center of the flag. One "M" set is white (the vertical) and the other is red (the horizontal). This flag was officially adopted by the Maryville City Council on September 23, 1975, and the design was chosen in a competition format held during the Bicentennial of the USA, as the City did not have an official flag until this point.
