According to
this article by The Day, it says that the flag of Westerly has been in use
since it was created in 1994 by Susan Latz. Latz also sewed this first flag and
had the honor of raising it for the first time. I am almost certain this is the
flag used today, as it does contain the municipal seal like the current one
(although the article does not say what color the background is).
