The flag of the Blair County, Pennsylvania, is of green background with Pennsylvania-type shield (keystone) which contains a map, a train, and various elements showing agriculture and industry, a horseshoe below, four white stars, wheat, three vertical golden lines, and inscriptions "COUNTY OF BLAIR", "1846" and "PENNSYLVANIA".
Explanation of the elements:
Four stars for 4 phases of Government - County, City, Borough and Township.
Three gold stripes - Administrators of County Government - three County Commissioners
Horseshoe - Horseshoe Curve (World Famous)
Wheat for prosperity and plenty
Within the Keystone: Tractor for farming, gears for industry, engine for the railroads, trees are for the forest land of our County which have helped build the Nation
Flag was designed by Charles W. Bickel, Senior Draftsman, Blair County Planning Commission
Adopted as official flag of the County of Blair on the 123rd birthday of the County, 26.02.1969.

"Blair County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is part of the Altoona, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the population was 129,144.
