Jackson County, Ohio has adopted a new flag:
Today, the Jackson County Commissioners officially adopted a newly designed county flag.
The redesign was led by our very own Nicole Havens, whose leadership and creative vision turned years of conversation into a finished product the county can be proud of for years to come. While many contributed along the way, Nicole shepherded this project forward, and she deserves the credit.
On behalf of the Jackson County Economic Development Partnership, congratulations to Jackson County’s own “Betsy Ross,” Nicole Havens, on a job well done!

AThis white flag shows a colorful water-side scene, centering on a group of three cattails. Jackson County was established in 1816, and named for Major General Andrew Jackson, who won the Battle of New Orleans in 1815.
