Marilla is located in eastern Erie County and had 5,189 residents as of the 2020 census. The name Marilla comes from Marilla Rogers, an early school teacher in the area.
The flag for the town of Marilla, New York, consists of the seal, in black and white, centered on a strong orange field. The seal itself contains a cow, an old-fashioned windmill, and an anvil and hammer.
