A seven-stripe alternating purple (top) and white background. In the upper fly, a yellow sun from which four yellow stripes stretch diagonally from the upper fly to the lower hoist. A blue squiggly line, thinner at the top of the flag and wider at the bottom, represents Canadaway Creek and covers some of the sunrays. Over the river is a triangular cluster of grapes. The village name "FREDONIA" reads on the uppermost white stripe and "N.Y." at the very bottom. This flag can only be found in a village courtroom and does not fly anywhere in town, much to my chagrin!
