According to 13 July 1999 town minutes www.townofchesterny.org/tocminutes/tb071399.html, Councilperson Murphy suggested having a Town flag/banner made with the town logo. She suggested using the Bicentennal logo and getting a quote.
I could not find any evidence indicating whether the suggestion was heeded or not.
