According to The Maple Valley News issue of April 23, 1991, the Eaton County
flag was adopted on May 21, 1969 by the Girl Scout Troop No. 81 of Olivet.
The background is divided diagonally. Green on the flag stands for farming
in the county, while white is for industry in the county. The stook of grain
signifies the fact it is one of the main farming products in the county. The red
maple leaf stands for one of the county's oldest industries, in producing maple
products and the county seat Charlotte, which had been nicknamed the Maple City.
The flag is visible in front of the courthouse on Google Maps. It does not seem
there is a clear photo, from what I could find:
