Haysville chooses new city flag design
Nov 1, 2017
The city of
Haysville unveiled a new city flag recently that was the result of a community
flag design contest. The winning flag design was chosen from several entries
during the Haysville Fall Festival event last month. The Haysville Sun-Times
reports that Dana DeCicco, a nine-year resident of Haysville created the winning
flag design entry.
One directive on the design was to include the “Flying
H” logo of which the two stems on the letter H represent the two tornadoes that
went through the community in the 1990s.
